The death has occurred of
Michael (Mick) Long
Michael (Mick) Long, Togher Rd. Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny,formerly Gortnahoe, Thurles Co. Tipperary, January 6th. 2024, peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the tender care of nurses and staff at Fennor Care Facility, Urlingford in his 100th. year.
Predeceased by his wife Kathleen, and his brothers and sisters Ned, Tom, Peg, Josie and Nancy.
Mick will be sadly missed but always remembered by his son Michael, daughter Mary (Hennessy), daughter-in-law Frances, son-in-law John, grandson Jack, sister Mary (Fitzgerald), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Rest in Peace
Reposing at Doyle's Funeral home, Urlingford (Eircode E41 XO38) on Tuesday evening January 9th. from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock. Removal on Wednesday morning to the Church of the Assumption, Urlingford arriving for Requiem mass at 11 o'clock. Interment afterwards in the Mill Cemetery.
