Michael (Mick) McCarthy
Formerly Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. Retired Garda Siochana. Monday May 2nd 2016 peacefully in the loving care of his family and the staff at Cavan General Hospital. Beloved husband of Pat (Beesie) and devoted Father of Declan, Fionnuala, Fergus, Caitriona and Mary. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Michael and Paul, daughters-in-law Eithne and Marie, his adored and adoring grandchildren Niamh, Nessa, Michael, Steven, Shauna, Laoighse, Brian, Conor, Claire, David, Joe and great-grandchildren Clara and Micheál, sister Kathleen Byrne, Mullingar, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, all his relatives, former colleagues and many friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at his home at Farnham Road, Cavan, today Monday from 7.00pm until Tuesday evening at 4.30pm. House private to Family thereafter until removal to the Cathedral of Ss Patrick & Felim, Cavan arriving at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am followed by burial in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Killygarry.
