The death has occurred of
Michael (Mick) McCarthy
McCarthy (Kilworth, Mitchelstown & Schull). On August 8th 2024, unexpectedly, at Cork University Hospital, Michael (Mick) McCarthy, 4 Cois Coillte, Kilworth and formerly of Mitchelstown & Schull, Co. Cork. Loving father of Tara Denihan (Midleton), Wayne and Clinton. Beloved husband of the late Gail, dear brother of Tony, Steve, Kitty and the late Gus, John & Ann and devoted grandad of Danielle, Maise, Emma, Madison, Aaron, Ellie & Jackson.
Sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Kieran, daughter-in-law Lee, Tara and Wayne’s mother Anne, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May Mick Rest in Peace.
Reposing at the Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, Mitchelstown, P67 DX81 on Sunday (11th August) evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Reception into the Church of Mary Conceived Without Sin, Mitchelstown, on Monday (12th August) for Requiem Mass at 11.30 a.m. followed by cremation at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Cork.
