Michael (Mick) McDonnell

Michael (Mick) McDonnell (Glencullen and formerly of Kilternan and Walkinstown) - August 17th, 2024, passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved husband of 58 years to Deirdre (née Burns) and much-loved father of Mícheál, Orla and Niamh.

Sadly missed and remembered by all his loving family, brothers James, Thomas and Christy, sisters Breda, Maura and Patricia, daughter-in-law Mandy, sons-in-law Mark and Colm, grandchildren Alannah, Erin, Shane, Abbie, Ruairi and Ronan, great-granddaughter Jess, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours, his loyal cat Cilla and his many friends, especially those in the Stars of Erin Community and St. Mary’s GAA Enniskerry.

Michael will repose at JP Ward & Sons Funeral Home, Sandyford Village on Wednesday (Aug 21st) from 4pm to 6pm. Removal on Thursday morning (Aug 22nd) to St. Patrick’s Church, Glencullen arriving for 11am Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
