Michael (Mick) McGowan

The death has occurred of Michael (Mick) McGowan, Addinstown, Delvin, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Creggaballagh, Killasser, Swinford, Co. Mayo, suddenly on the 11th April, 2022 at his residence. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Margaret, his sister Alice and brother Tommy. Loving husband of Maureen.

Michael will be sadly missed by his wife, his sisters Margaret Smyth and Brigid Lynch (Canada), brothers in law, sister in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at Mullen's funeral home, O'Growney Street, Athboy this Thursday evening from 5pm followed by prayers at 7.15pm. Funeral Service takes place on Good Friday morning at 10.30am in the Church of the Assumption, Delvin with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Michael's funeral Mass takes place on Easter Monday morning at 11am in the Church of the Assumption, Delvin. The family request full compliance with Covid restriction guidelines which are still in place by the wearing of face masks, refraining from hand shaking and observing social distancing where necessary while attending at the reposing and funeral services.
