Michael (Mick) McGrath,

Ballybane, Shanagarry, Co. Cork.

 

On the 13th December 2025, peacefully surrounded by his loving family, at Cork University Hospital following an illness borne with great courage and dignity.

 

Mick Beloved and devoted husband of Mary (née Walsh) and a much loved and cherished Dad to Mike, Garrett, Tom, John and Séamus.

 

A much loved and loving Grandad to Ali & MJ, Kieran & Kian, Sophie & Charlotte, Emily, Maddie and David, each of whom brought him immense joy.

 

Dearly loved brother of Gerard, Ollie, Ray, Sr. Noreen, Mary, Mairead, Brid, Kay, Evelyn, Rose and Ona.

 

Mick will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his heartbroken wife, sons, their wives and partners; Emma, Kristine, Angelica, Emma and Megan, his grandchildren, godchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family, kind neighbours and his wide circle of dear friends near and far.

 

 

May Mick Rest in Peace.

 

 

Mick will repose at O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton, P25 X382 on Tuesday, 16th December, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, followed by removal to St. Colman’s Church, Cloyne.

 

Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, 17th December at 11:30am, followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Ladysbridge.
