Michael (Mick) Nugent

Michael (Mick) Nugent, Brookfield, Rochfortbridge and formerly Derrygreenagh Park - passed away (peacefully) 23rd November, at home with his devastated family and friends by his side, following a long illness borne with great courage and dignity. A much adored husband, father, brother, son-in-law, brother-in-law and friend; Michael, will be missed by his devoted wife Martina, his heartbroken children Keelan, Cora and Larry, his cherished grandchildren Roman and Aurelia, brothers Larry and Owen, mother-in-law Marie, son-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, friends and especially the Boxing Community. Pre-deceased by his parents Alice and Owen, father-in-law Eddie and brother-in-law Hughie.

May Mick's Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Reposing at John Healy's Chapel of Rest, Rochfortbridge, (N91 R291) on Tuesday 25th November from 5pm until 7pm followed by removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rochfortbridge to arrive for 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am with burial afterwards in Milltownpass cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired to The Family Carers Ireland.

The Nugent family would like to sincerely thank the nurses and staff at Charter Medical, Mullingar, the Carers, the Public Health Nurse, the Primary Care Team and his close friends for helping the family to look after Mick during his illness.
