The death has occurred of
Michael (Mick) O'Connell
Michael (Mick) O'Connell Riverside Drive, Castleisland, Co. Kerry and late of Counguilla, Scartaglen. Peacefully on August 16th 2021 ,surrounded by his loving family in the excellent care of the staff at Rathkeevan Nursing Home Clonmel. Beloved husband of the late Maureen . Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family Hugh, Mary, Siobhan, Denis and Anne Marie, sons-in-law David, Joe and Paul, daughters-in-law Noreen and Philomena, his adored fourteen grandchildren ,his brother Fr. John (Bray), sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

In accordance with current HSE guidelines a private family funeral (Max 50 people) will take place for Michael with his Requiem Mass on Thursday morning at 11am in Castleisland Parish Church followed by burial in Kilsarcon Cemetery.The Mass will be livestreamed on www.churchservices.tv/castleisland

Please Note ; The funeral cortége will depart Tangney's Funeral Home at 10.30am Thursday morning and travel to the Church and depart the Church at 12 noon and travel up Church Street / Pound Road/ Riverside Drive/ Tralee Road and back on to Church Street and on to Scartaglen and Kilsarcon Cemetery.
