The death has occurred of
Michael (Mick) Power
POWER (Newtown, Bantry and late of Dunmanway); On April 23rd, 2022, MICHAEL (Mick) peacefully passed away in the excellent care of staff at St. Joseph's Unit, Bantry General Hospital, beloved husband of the late Ann (née Quinn), much loved dad of Joe, Aisling, Fergal and Karen and brother of Sean, Barrie and the late Kitty. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family, his sons-in-law Duke and Derek, his daughters-in-law Susan and Joanne, his grandchildren Emma-Jane, David, Isla, Jessie and Mia, relatives, carers and a wide circle of friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel St, Bantry on Tuesday April 26th from 6pm followed by prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday April 27th at 12 noon at St. Finbarr's Church, Bantry (livestreamed on bantryparish.ie) followed by burial afterwards in the Abbey Cemetery, Bantry.
Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired, to the Friends of Bantry General Hospital, c/o Bantry General Hospital, Bantry Co. Cork.
