The death has occurred of
MICHAEL (MICK) SMITHERS
SMITHERS (Ballinlough and late of Connolly Road) on December 14th 2024, peacefully in the presence of his loving family at Cork University Hospital, MICHAEL (Mick) (late of Irish Steel). Beloved husband of Rita (née Walsh) loving father of Owen, Deborah (O’Brien) and Sharon. Dear brother of the late Jack, Kathleen, Richie, Paddy, Rose and his twin Marie. Sadly missed, by his loving family, sons-in-law David and Damien, daughter-in-law Ann Marie, grandchildren, Lecia, Myah, Kayla, Onagh, Lexie, Arianne, Ophelia, Anlón, Rhys and Emma, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Sullivan’s Funeral Home Turners Cross on Monday (16th December) from 5.00pm until 6.00pm. Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon on Tuesday (17th December), in Christ King Church, Turners Cross which may be viewed on Link Here, followed by cremation at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
No flowers by request, donations in lieu to Cork Stroke Support Group.
