Michael (Mick) Tighe

Michael (Mick) Tighe (Dundrum, Dublin and formerly of Geevagh, Co. Sligo) – February 25th, 2026.

 

Forever in the hearts of his wife Catherine (née Carr), his children Étáin, Fióna, Lorcán, and his grandchildren Freya, Killian and Michael (his namesake). Predeceased by his beloved parents Laurence and Lena Tighe and his brother James (Jim) Tighe.

 

Sadly missed by his brother Vincent, sister Mary, sisters-in-law Mary and Breege, son-in-law Conor, daughter-in-law Emma, Fiona’s partner Felipe, nephews, nieces, extended family and his wonderful supportive neighbours and friends.

Michael will repose at JP Ward & Sons Funeral Home, Sandyford Village (D18C8P7) on Monday morning (Mar 2nd) from 10am and will then depart at 10:40am proceeding at a walking pace to St. Mary’s Church, Sandyford Village arriving for 11am Mass, followed by a private cremation on Tuesday.
