The death has occurred of
Michael (Mick) Twomey
Twomey (Castlehaven): On July 10th, 2021 peacefully in the tender care of the Dr.'s, Nurses and staff of Skibbereen Community Hospital, and in the presence of his heart-broken wife & family, Michael (Mick), beloved husband of Mary (nee Barry), Scobawn, Castletownshend, Skibbereen and loving father of Marie, John, Siobhán, Stephen & Michael, and grandfather of the late Darren & Shona, and brother of the late Jackie.
Deeply regretted by his loving wife & family, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, sister May Connolly, brother Billy, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours, and his many close & dear friends.
May He Rest In Peace.
Michael's funeral will take place in accordance with current Government & H.S.E. guidelines on public gatherings. Michael's funeral cortége will leave his home in Scobawn on Monday, 12th July at 12noon via the coast road to Castletownshend village, and onwards to St. Barrahanes Church, Castlehaven for private Requiem Mass at 1pm. Burial immediately afterwards to Castlehaven New Cemetery.
