Michael died on July 23rd 2023, peacefully after a short illness at Tallaght Hospital, in his 91st year. He was fondly known as Mickey, and was late of Bord na Móna, Leamonaghan.

Mickey was predeceased by his beloved parents, Joe and Marcella, infant sons, Joseph and John-Joe, brothers and sisters, Lizzie, Big John, Christina, Kathleen, Mary-Bridget, Joe and Oliver.

Mickey will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving wife Nan and family, Liz Cornally, Marcella Gonoude, Paul, Michael, Cyril, Mary Buckley and Liam, also Christy and Tony Gannon, 19 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, sisters Angela and Tess, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Grant Mickey Eternal Rest and Peace

Mickey will repose at his home on Tuesday evening (July 25th) from 4pm to 8.30pm.

Removal on Wednesday morning (July 26th) to St. Mary's Church, Pullough, where his Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11am.

Interment afterwards in Rahan Cemetery.
