Michael (Mickey) Holland

The death has occurred of Michael (Mickey) Holland, Drumalish, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, on Friday 23rd January, peacefully in the tender and loving care of the nurses and staff of St. Mary’s Hospital, Castleblayney, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents, Bridget and Michael, sisters, Ann and Marie and brother PJ.

Michael will be deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken family, his loving wife Nuala, sons Declan (Wendie) and Paul (Eileen) and his cherished grandson Jamie, sister Vera, brothers Martin and Gerard, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Michael will repose at Wards Funeral Home, Castleblayney (A75 NP30) on Sunday from 3.00pm until 6.00pm.

Michael’s funeral cortège will travel from the family home in Drumalish on Monday at 1:30pm to arrive at St. Mary’s Church Castleblayney for Funeral Mass at 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Carrickmacross (Cloughvalley) Alzheimer’s Society Day Care Centre or the Lorgan Unit, St. Mary’s Hospital, c/o Wards Funeral Home or by donation box.
