The death has occurred of Michael (Mickey Joe) Mc Dermott, Ballinafad, Co. Sligo and Derrymaquirk, Boyle, Co. Roscommon.

6th April 2026. Unexpectedly.

Pre-deceased by his parents Bartholomew and Veronica Mc Dermott and his sister-in-law Karen.

 

 

 

Michael will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Edel, his adored sons Donal, Tadhg and Eoin, brothers Shaun and Joseph, sisters Sharon Brennan (Michael), Tara Murray (Tommy), twin sister Hilda, Lisa O’ Dowd (Kevin), father and mother-in-law Louis and Eileen Carty, brother-in-law Keith (Lorraine), sisters-in-law Louise Moran (Padraic), Claire Cryan (Thomas), aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, neighbours, cousins, relatives and his many friends.

Reposing at his home in Ballinafad to-morrow Wednesday (8th April 2026) from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Removal on Thursday (April 9th) afternoon to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballinafad, to arrive for celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at 1p.m. Interment afterwards in Aughanagh Cemetery.

 

House strictly private at all other times please.
