The death has occurred on Monday, June 19th of Michael (Mickey) Scarlett, Simonstown, Coole, Co. Westmeath; suddenly, but peacefully, at his home. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Margaret, brothers Samuel and Robert and sisters Eileen, Margaret and Philomena. Mickey will be very sadly missed by his brothers John (UK) and Billy (Dublin), sisters Mary (Molly) Arkins (Kells) and Sarah Gorman (Castlepollard); brother-in-law Paddy Gorman; sister-in-law Bernie Scarlett; his very good friends Michael Curran and Kathleen Bruton; his beloved nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar Mortuary, Castlepollard Road, Mullingar on Thursday, June 22nd, from 5pm to 6pm, followed by removal to Church of the Immaculate Conception, Coole, arriving for 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, June 23rd, at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in Whitehall Cemetery. Michael’s Funeral Mass will be broadcast live at the following link: https://coole-church.click2stream.com.
