Unexpectedly at his residence surrounded by his heartbroken family on October 15th 2025.

Predeceased by his parents Kitty and Matt Tighe, his nephew Shane Heaney and niece Máire Heaney.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken Family, Wife Gertie, Son Shane, Daughter Tara Joyce (Headford), Daughter-in-law Fiona, Son-in-law Brian, his adored Grandchildren Aoife, Cathal, Èilla and Tadhg, Sisters Maureen (Hollymount), Pat (Boston), Irene (Partry) and Ann (Brickens) Brother Martin (Newcastle) Brothers-in-law, Sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace

Reposing at his residence, Claremorris Rd, Hollymount (F12 RH93) on Sunday evening, October 19th from 4 o’clock until 7 o’clock.
Removal from his residence on Monday Morning (October 20th) to arrive at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Roundfort (F12 YV70) for Funeral mass at 12 noon, followed by burial afterwards in Roundfort Cemetery.
