Michael (Mickie) Bergin

The death has occurred peacefully of Michael (Mickie) Bergin, surrounded by his loving family in the loving care of the staff of Sonas Riverview Nursing Home, Ballina.

Mickie predeceased by his parents Martin and Annie-May and his grandson Shane.

Beloved husband of Marie and loving father to Brian, Pamela, and Mary Moynihan (Ballaghaderreen).

He will be sadly missed by his wife, son, daughters, daughter-in-law Geraldine, sons-in-law Con and John, grandchildren, Conor, Ella, Lorna, Liam, Hannah, Emma, James, and Grace, his sisters, Sr. Mary and Johanna McKenna, brother-in-law Peter McKenna, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina (Eircode F26 V274) on Friday evening 27th June from 7:30 with removal at 9:00pm to St Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina.

Requiem Mass on Saturday morning 28th June at 1:30pm followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.
