Michael (Micky) Nugent
The death has taken place of Michael (Micky) Nugent, (Retired Mallow Fire Service), Waters Place, Mallow and Abbeylands Nursing Home, Kildorrery, passed away peacefully on November 12th 2023, at Cork University Hospital, beloved husband of the late Mary (nee O'Callaghan) and dear father of William and Susan. Sadly missed by his loving family, brother Victor, sisters Cecilia and Bernie, son-in-law Adrian, daughter-in-law Paula, grandchildren Ciara, Shane, Tasha, Darragh and Cillian, great-grandchildren Aidan and Ava, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, also Cathy, Scott, Kevin, James and Conor, extended family, relatives and friends.
May He Rest In Peace.
Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James' Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Wednesday (November 15th) from 5.30pm to 7.30pm followed by Removal to St. Mary's Church, Mallow.
Requiem Mass on Thursday (November 16th) at 12 noon which may be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/mallow.
Funeral afterwards to St. Gobnait's Cemetery, Mallow.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to Mallow Search & Rescue.
The family would like to thank the Staff of Abbeylands Nursing Home, Kildorrery for the exceptional care given to Micky and his family during his time with them.
