Carey (Ballyporeen & Araglen).

On April 20th 2026, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the exceptional care of all at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny, MICHAEL (MIKE) CAREY, Galtee View, Ballyporeen and formerly of Doon, Araglen.

Beloved son of Ned and Noreen, loving father of Gill & Jennine, dear brother of Marie and the late Eamonn and uncle of late Baby Ed.

Sadly missed by his parents, daughters, sister, brother-in-law Kevin, sister-in-law Marie, son-in-law Seán, grandkids Tadgh, Tiernan, Ashling, Tyler and Amelia, nephews Jack & Robert, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Mike Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Ballyporeen Parochial Hall, E21 CV05 on Thursday (23rd April) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by removal to the Church of the Assumption, Ballyporeen, E21 PW29.

Requiem Mass on Friday (24th April) at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St Mary's Cemetery, Ballyporeen.
