Michael (Mikey) Collins

Collins (Leap and Union Hall): On March 28th, 2025 peacefully after a long illness in the tender and loving care of the Doctor's, nurses and staff of the St. Catherine's Ward of Marymount University Hosptial & Hospice Cork, and in the presence of his heart-broken family, Michael (Mikey), beloved husband of Kay (née Burke), Bawnfune, Leap and late of Cahergal, Union Hall.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, sons Colm, Brendan and the late Michael, daughters Marie, Sheila and Patricia, Kay's sister-in-law Nora Burke, sons-in-law Paddy, Paul & Alan, daughters-in-law Jenny & Siobhán, and his many adoring grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, loyal neighbours and his many close & faithful friends.

Reposing in Shanahan's Funeral Home, Leap on Sunday, 30th March from 4pm to 6pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Monday, 31st March at 11am in St. Brigid's Church, Union Hall which will be live-streamed on the Funeral Service link below. Funeral immediately afterwards to Myross cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Marymount University Hospital and Hospice Cork.
