Michael (Mikey) Walsh

Walsh (Mitchelstown) on March 23rd, 2021, peacefully with his family, in the wonderful of care of all at the Mercy University Hospital, Cork, MICHAEL (Mikey), Ard Mhuillean and formerly of Roches Heights and Liam Lynch Park, Mitchelstown. Beloved father of Michael, Margaret (Sampson) and Lesley (Lee), dear brother of Breda, Seamus, Mary, Tom and the late Dave, devoted grandad to Mark, Lauren, Sophie and Erin. Sadly missed by his loving daughters, son, his dear friend Anne, sons-in-law Liam and Trevor, Michael’s partner Linda, brothers, sisters, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, his cherished pets Sammy and Tommy and a large circle of friends.

May he rest in peace.

Mikey’s funeral cortège will travel via Ard Mhuillean, Bank Place, Clonmel Road, Roches Heights and Church Road, on its way to the Church of Mary Conceived Without Sin for Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Friday (26th March) followed by Private Cremation at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Cork. Mikey’s Mass will be live streamed on www.mitchelstownparish.ie
