Michael (Mikie) COLLINS

Michael (Mikie) Collins, Ballycommane, Tournafulla, Co. Limerick, passed away peacefully, in the presence of his family and in the care of the nurses and staff at St. Ita’s Hospital, Newcastle West, on Sunday, 27th August 2023. Mikie is very sadly missed by his loving wife Bridget, sons John and Michael, daughter Siobhán, daughters-in-law Caroline and Geraldine, son-in-law Thierry, grandchildren Eoin, Kevin, Paul, Kieran, Stephen, Seán, Eimear, Alex and Luke, sister Mary Theresa (Cahill), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends.

Mikie is predeceased by his sisters Josie, Ita and Nellie Mary.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale, on Tuesday, 29th August, from 6.00 p.m. until 8.00 p.m. Arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Tournafulla, on Wednesday, August 30th for Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
