With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, Michael Joseph Monaghan.

Michael was born February 22, 1963 in Mount Bolus, Tullamore and passed away at his home in St. Cloud, Florida on April 3, 2024.

 

He was a cherished father to Chivonne and Shinead Monaghan.

Michael was the devoted son of the late Michael and Mary Monaghan and a loving brother to Gerry Monaghan, Colum Monahan, Philomena Paynter, Róisín Dunning, Nuala Foster and the late Paul Monaghan.

 

A Memorial Service will take place on June 8, 2024, at 11:00 am at St. Brigid's Church, Mount Bolus. His ashes will be spread privately at a later date. Following the service, there will be a gathering of friends and family at The Blue Ball Pub at 12:00 pm to celebrate his life.

 

We invite family and friends to join us in celebrating his life and honoring his memory.

unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of
your mind because I am out of your sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an interval,
somewhere very near just around the corner.
All is well. Nothing is past; nothing is lost.
One brief moment and all will be as it was
before-only better, infinitely happier and
forever-we will all be one together with Christ.
