Michael Mullen

Michael (Rose Park, Dun Laoghaire) passed away peacefully in the loving care of the wonderful staff at St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, on February 24, 2026. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary (Loughlin) and brother Frank.

Michael will be sadly missed by his loving family, daughters Maria, Muriel and son Michael, sons-in-laws Richard and Vinny, daughter-in-law Kelly, grandchildren Ian, Eoin, Sean, Ronan, Sara and Gavin and his sisters Anne and Maria.

Michael was an award-winning rugby coach for over 50 years, spending the majority of his coaching and teaching career at CBC Monkstown.

Reposing on Friday March 6th in Quinn’s of Glasthule from 4pm to 6pm. Removal Saturday March 7th to the Church of the Holy Family, Kill-O-The-Grange arriving for 09.45am for a 10am Funeral Mass which can be viewed online at https://www.holyfamilyparish.ie/webcam followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium. Donations in lieu of flowers if so desired to St. Vincent’s University Hospital.
