Michael passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family in University Hospital Limerick (UHL) on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025.

 

Predeceased by his father Michael, mother Gertrude, brothers Tony, John, Dermot and Willie, sisters Kathleen and Nuala, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law.

 

Beloved husband of Mary (née Carmody), much loved father of Jacqueline, Michael, Kevin, Alan and Johnny, cherished granddad of Aofáine, Darragh, Michael John, David, Ailíse, Mark, Liath, Kate, Emma, Mariasole and Leonardo.

 

Deeply regretted by his loving family, daughters-in-law Maria, Orla, Ornella and Laura, brother Gerard, brothers-in-law John and Bill Carmody, sisters-in-law Peg, Sheila, Betty, Monica and Josephine, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Hawe - O'Keeffe's Funeral Home (P56 YY15), Bakers Road, Charleville, on Friday evening from 5:30pm to 7:00pm (Prayers at 5:30pm).

 

Reception into Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Effin (V35 FC89) on Saturday morning for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, after which Michael will be laid to rest in Effin Cemetery.
