Peacefully on the 16th of February 2022, in the tender care of the staff at Kilcolgan Nursing Home.

Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Bridget.

Fondly remembered by his brother John and sister’s Mary and Annie. Sadly missed by his sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Michael will lie in repose at Monahan’s Funeral Home, Gort, Friday evening, February 18th, from 6pm. Removal at 7pm to the Church of St. Thomas, Peterswell. Requiem Mass on Saturday, February 19th, at 10am. Burial afterwards in Kilthomas Cemetery, Peterswell.

Michael’s family and friends are very mindful of the current Covid 19 situation and wish for people to stay safe and well at this time. Those attending the funeral are kindly asked to please wear a face mask and refrain from sympathising and handshaking at all times.
