The death has occurred of
Michael O'Connell
Michael O'Connell (Rathgar, Dublin and formerly of RTE, Rialto and Drumcondra and member of The Royal Irish Yacht Club). September 17th , 2018.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Michael, a treasured husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, grand-uncle, cousin, friend and sailing companion. Michael's death is mourned by his wife Mary, his children Deirdre and Feargal, their partners Louise and Aoife, his adored granddaughters Florence and Doireann, by his sisters Vivienne and Caitriona and his many friends. Remembering his late sister Patricia. Michael died in St James's Hospital, where he was cared for with expertise and great tenderness by all, especially in Private 2. We will always remember their goodness.
Reposing in private at home. Funeral at The Church of the Three Patrons, Rathgar, on Saturday 22nd September at 11.30 am. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Concern.
