Peacefully after a short illness. In the wonderful care of the staff of Tipperary University Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Mary and step-mother Mary J. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary, children John, Nora, Irene (Catherine), Joan, James and Margaret, daughter-in-law Susanna, son-in-law Conal, grandson Jack, relatives, former colleagues in Tipperary Mart's, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Tuesday 2nd December from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Church of St. Joseph and Brigid, Bothar na Naomh, Thurles on Wednesday 3rd December at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Thurles.
