Michael O'Mahony

The death has taken place of Michael O’Mahony, “Castleview”, Valentia Road, Cahirciveen, Co. Kerry and late of Abbeyside, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford.

Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry, having been in the kind, gentle and compassionate care of the Matron and staff of Valentia Community Hospital in his final weeks. Predeceased by his beloved wife Marie and his brother Vincent. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children Otteran, Mary, Laura and Michelle, brothers Ray, Donie and Kevin, sister Claire, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, daughter-in-law Colette, sons-in-laws Axel and Charlie, his nine beloved grandchildren Hugh, Lughaidh, Dominique, Azim, Oisin, Jared, Luca, Raul and Ezio, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends, former Met Eireann colleagues and kind neighbours.

Rest in Peace

Michael’s remains will arrive at the Daniel O’Connell Memorial Church, Cahirciveen on Saturday morning (August 7th) for requiem Mass at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial in Reilig Cill Fhaolain, all in accordance with HSE guidelines.
