Michael O'Neill

The death has occurred of Michael O'Neill, (former principal of Eagle's Nest School) Tully, Renvyle, Co. Galway. Michael passed peacefully in the wonderful care of Teach Altranais, Charna, on 1st of February 2026. Predeceased by his much loved wife May, his parents James and Florence O'Neill, and his nephew Francis (Franny) Kelly. He will be forever loved and greatly missed by his heartbroken children, Maeve, Siobhan, Jim, Maureen, Eithne, and Niamh; his cherished sister Maureen and brother in law Frank; his grandchildren Rhys, Faye, Jack, Jamie, Ryan, Layla, Freya and Ella; his sons in law, and daughter-in-law, niece and nephews, cousins and friends.

Michael will be reposing at Christ the King Church, Tullycross (H91D285) on Thursday evening 5th of February from 5-30 until 7-30 pm. Funeral Mass on Friday 6th of February at 12 noon followed by burial in Renvyle Cemetery.
