Michael passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family in Mallow General Hospital on Friday, October 10th, 2025.

 

Loving husband of the late Angela (née Kelleher - Ballingeary), much loved father of Michéal (Mick) and Noreen (Moloney), cherished grandfather of Orla, Mikey and Eoin and great-grandfather of Fionn.

 

Dear brother of Seán and the late Ted.

 

Deeply regretted by his loving family, son-in-law Michéal, late daughter-in-law Susan, Orla's partner Steven O'Neill, sister-in-law Joan Kelleher, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, friends and his dog Jake.

Reposing in O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Bank Place, Buttevant (P51 N2NP) on Sunday evening from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, followed by Prayers and Reception into St. Mary's Church, Buttevant.

 

Requiem Mass on Monday afternoon at 2:00pm, after which Michael will be laid to rest in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Buttevant.

The family wish to thank Dr. Betty Hyde, Cork Road Clinic, Mallow and Dr. Kiely and his team in Mallow General Hospital for the care they showed to Michael and to Mags and Patsy for calling to the house and for the kindness and for helping Michael.
