The death has occurred of Michael J O'Reilly, Florida USA, Rosscahill, Co
Galway and Belturbet Co. Cavan.

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Michael J. O'Reilly who completed his life’s journey on Sunday the 31st of August 2025, peacefully in his sleep with his loving son Brian by his side, in the wonderful care of the staff at Halifax Health Hospice, Ormond Beach, FL.
Dearly beloved Brother of the late Esther (Ramelton), Frances (Belturbet), Bridie (Trim),and Geraldine (Belturbet).

Dearly beloved husband of the late Eileen (née Fahy).
Loving father of Brian, Kevin, Kathleen, Eamon, all of his 11 adored grandchildren, son-in-law, daughters -in-law, brothers Anthony (Belturbet), Brian (Colorado) and sister Kathleen (Portadown), nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends far and near.

Updated funeral arrangements

 

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Michael at 12 Noon in the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Killannin, on Saturday, October 4th, 2025. Following Mass Interment of Michael’s Ashes will take place in the adjoining Cemetery.
