Michael P. Murphy

Michael passed away peacefully after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family at University Hospital Galway on the 5th December 2024. Michael a former member of the Munster G.U.I. Michael is predeceased by his loving wife Geraldine, and his brother Tom and sister Maria, his brothers-in-law and also his sister-in-law. He will be forever in the hearts of his loving family, his daughter Colette, sons Declan and Michael. Daughters-in-law Neus and Kate, and his adoring grandchildren, Maria, Sara, Ciara, Patrick, Sinead and Conor. He will be fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law Noelle and Eileen, his nephews and nieces, extended family, relatives, great friends and kind neighbours.

Michael will be reposing at his home in "La Verna" Cullinagh on Sunday, 8th December, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Private removal on Monday morning for Requiem Mass on Monday, 9th December 2024, at 11.30 a.m. in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Newcastle West followed by burial in St. David's Cemetery Churchtown, Newcastle West.
