The death has occurred of Michael Patrick GRAVEN. Born in Polranny Sweeney, Achill, Co. Mayo. The death has occurred of Michael Patrick GRAVEN of Malvern Gardens, Kenton, and lately of Smug Oak Lane, St Albans, Hertfordshire. On 19th June 2021 he died peacefully in the presence of his family at home in St Albans.

Much loved husband of Gertrude (nee Campbell), and father of Siobhan and Patrick; loving father in law of Christopher and Jennifer and Grandad to Zara, Ben, Ryan (deceased), Scott, Lucas and Ciara. Predeceased by his grandson Ryan; his sister Kathleen, brother Tommy and cousin Patrick. Sadly missed by his family; brother James, sisters Brigid Ann and Margaret, brother and sister in laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday evening at 6pm in All Saints Catholic Church, Kenton Road, Kenton Harrow, followed by his remains being taken home to Ireland. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday morning at 10am in Our Lady Queen of the Universe Church, Currane, Achill, with burial afterwards at Polranny Cemetery.

His Grandson Ryan; who shared a birthday with Michael, and died age 2 in 2011, will have his ashes buried with his Grandad who he loved so dearly. They will rest together for eternity. Family flowers only please, with donations, if desired, to Achill Lifeboat, or Peace Hospice.
