Michael Payne

Michael Payne, Carragh Drive, Knocknacarra Road, Salthill (and formerly of Rosslodge, Headford), 22nd March 2024, peacefully at UHG surrounded by his loving family. Deeply regretted by his beloved wife Eva (nee Joyce), daughter Deirdre Whelan (Dublin), son Kevin (Athlone), son-in-law Michael, Kevin’s partner Joanne, grandchildren Laura and Anna, sisters Eileen Lavelle (Canada), Genivieve Price (England), Kathleen (Galway) and Nono McGovern (Tipperary), brothers Frank (Cork) and Jarlath (Oranmore), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. Michael is pre-deceased by his parents Patrick and Mary Kate and his brother Padraic.

May Michael’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Reposing in St Anthony’s Room, in St John the Apostle Church, Knocknacarra this Sunday (24th March) from 3.00pm with removal at 4.30pm to Church of Christ the King, Salthill. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11.00am with burial afterwards in Donaghpatrick Cemetery, Headford. Mass can be viewed live on https://salthillparish.ie. Family flowers only by request. Donations if desired to St Vincent de Paul.
