REIDY (Ó Riada), Michael (Castleknock, Dublin 15 and formerly of Fr. Griffin Road, Galway City) October 16th 2025

Beloved husband and best friend of Norah Gallagher, loving father of Sinéad, Diarmúid and Colm and devoted Grandad of Ciara and Nia.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, sons, granddaughters, Sinéad’s partner Darragh, Diarmúid’s partner Katie, Colm’s wife Sara, sisters Joan and Mary, brothers-in-law Naoto Nishio, Michael, George, James, sisters-in-law Margaret, Susan, Kathleen and Patricia, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and beloved dogs Daisy and Buttons.

Predeceased by his parents Jerry and Bridget Reidy and sister Breda and her husband Marty Ward.

Michael will be fondly remembered by his friends, neighbours, colleagues in the Donahies Community School and the rowing community in both Dublin and Galway.

The family wish to thank the emergency service for their prompt response and also the staff at James Connolly Hospital for their wonderful care and support at this difficult time.

May Michael rest in peace.

Reposing at his residence on Sunday, October 19th from 4.00pm to 7.00pm and again on Monday, October 20th from 3.00pm to 5.00pm.

Removal on Monday evening, October 20th to the Church of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock D15 X277 arriving at 6.00pm.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning, October 21st at 11.00am, followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery D11 XA32.
