Michael (Sha) Shannon
Michael Shannon, (Sha) Sleaveen West, Macroom.
Michael died peacefully at home on 8th, July,2025, after a long illness borne with great dignity, beloved husband and best friend of his heartbroken wife Martina (nee McCarthy), loving father of Jason and Eric, dear brother to Sean, Margaret, Kathleen, Billy, Mary, Connie, Helen, Noreen, Anne, Denis and the late Sarah.
Deeply missed by his adored grandchildren Leo, Zara, Erskine and Harry, daughters-in-law Jennifer (Rogers) and Lorna (Russell), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reception Prayers in St Colman’s Church, Macroom (P12VP20) on Thursday at 5pm, Reposing till 7pm. Requiem Mass on Friday at 4pm in St Colman’s Church, Macroom (P12VP20) which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/macroom followed by burial in St. Colman’s Cemetery, Macroom.

Due to the ongoing roadworks in Macroom Town and the closure of The New Road please Park in the Town Car Park and follow the traffic diversion signs as you approach Macroom.
