The death has occurred of
Michael (Shakey) Smith
Smith Michael (Shakey), 29th April, 2020, Benmadigan Road, Drimnagh; peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the kind care of the staff of St. James’s Hospital; beloved husband of the late Rosaleen and loving dad of Tony, Ann, Linda, Bernadette, Madeline, Lorraine, Rosaleen, Noeleen, David, Declan and Tracy. Sadly missed by his loving children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his 23 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
May Michael rest in peace.
In line with Government/HSE advice and to ensure the safety of all Michael’s relatives and friends, a small private funeral will be held. His family would ask that over the coming days everyone who knew Michael would take some time to light a candle or say a prayer. We will have a celebration of Michael’s life with family and friends in due course. Messages of support can be left in the online condolence book below.
