Michael Sheehan Ballyarra, Castlelyons, Co. Cork.

Michael passed away peacefully, in his 94th year, on December 26th. 2024, in the exceptional care of the staff at Brookfield Nursing Home, Leamlara. He was formerly in the wonderful care of Strawhall Nursing Home, Fermoy.

Beloved husband of Anne (née Barry), and dear father of Liz (O’Brien), Mary, Donal, Kevin, Clare and Ger and father-in-law of the late Oliver O’Brien. Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren Áine, Eoin, Olivia, Cathal, Fionán and Olwyn, his sister Sr. Elizabeth (SMG), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, daughters-in-law Ita and Gwyn, Ger’s partner Aga, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in peace.

Michael will be lying in repose at Ronayne’s Funeral Home Fermoy, The visitation to be on Friday December 27th from 5.00.pm. until 7.00.pm. Requiem Mass Saturday December 28th at 12 noon in St. Nicholas Church, Castlelyons. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
