Michael Shortall

Late of Nutley, East Sussex and formerly of Drumcondra, Dublin.

On 1st January 2025 surrounded by his family, Michael died peacefully at Hôpital Saint Antoine-Sorbonne, Paris, following a tragic accident. Deeply regretted by his beloved and heartbroken wife Denise (ne̒e Somerville) and his adored children Laura and Gavin, his sisters Ma̒irín, Catherine (Gleeson) and Ro̒isín, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and all his nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by his brother Brendan and his sister Margaret.

Requiem Mass at St Columba’s Church, Iona Road, Glasnevin on Wednesday 22nd January at 10.30am, followed by Michael’s burial in Glasnevin Cemetery. All are welcome. For those unable to attend, the mass can be viewed online at www.ionaroadparish.ie
