The death has occurred of Michael Smith, Cornabaste, Tullyvin, Cootehill, Co.Cavan, on 10th April 2026, peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary, brother Oliver, sisters Molly, Bridget and Ellie.
Beloved and devoted husband to Catherine (aka Kathleen) and loving father to Karen (Ambrose), John (Bríd), Kevin (Valerie) and Adrian (Antoinette), his adored grandchildren Kayla, Keelan, Ella, Erin, Connie, Áine, Grace, Aodhán, Eoin, Aoife, Oisín and Antóin, brothers, sister, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Mullen's Funeral Home, Cootehill, Co Cavan (H16FD25) this Sunday from 4pm until 6pm. Funeral cortége to arrive for requiem funeral mass on Monday at 11am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Drung, (H12Y409), which can be viewed live on www.churchtv.ie/Drung , with burial immediately afterwards in Drung cemetery.
