The death has occurred of
Michael Smith
Michael Smith of Quill Road, Kilmacanogue, Co. Wicklow. April 13th 2026 peacefully surrounded by his family while in the exceptional care of all the staff at The Wicklow Hospice, Magheramore. Pre-deceased by his cherished daughter Ailbhe, his parents Arthur and Dympna (née Logue) and his brother Kevin.
Remembered with love by his son Oisín and his partner Megan, Oisín’s mother Oona and his siblings. Deeply regretted by his brothers and sisters Brendan, Teresa, Frank, Roisín, Arthur and Jenny, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and large circle of friends.
Reposing at his home on Thursday evening (April 16th) from 6pm until 8pm, removal at 11.40am on Friday morning (April 17th) walking to St. Mochonog’s Church, Kilmacanogue arriving for a celebration of Michael’s life at 12noon followed by private cremation.
