Michael Somers

Somers, Michael - 24th of August, 2025, (Belton Park Gardens, Collins Ave), passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. Dearly beloved husband of Peggy, loving father of Mairéad, treasured brother to Kathleen and predeceased by his brother, Walter. Adored grandfather of Éabha and Seán. He will be very sadly missed by his wife, daughter, sister, grandchildren, son-in-law Michael, sister-in-law Maureen, nieces, nephews, extended family, many close friends and neighbours.

 

The family would like to thank all the staff at CareChoice Nursing home for their excellent care and kindness shown to Michael and his family.

Reposing in Stafford's Funeral Home, Maypark, Donnycarney on Wednesday the 27th of August between 5pm and 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday the 28th of August in Our Lady of Consolation Church, Donnycarney arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St Fintan’s cemetery, Sutton.
