The death has occurred of
Michael Spillane
Spillane (Cork) on November 9th 2025, peacefully in the presence of his loving family and in the exceptional care of the nurses and staff of Curam Nursing Home, Carrigaline; Michael, McSwiney’s Villas (late Dunlops). Beloved husband of the late Eily (nee Humphreys), loving father of Jim, Helen (Meade) and Anne (Moynihan) and loving brother of Kathleen (Murphy) and the late Jimmy and Maura (O’Brien). Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren Richard, Claire, Sarah and Jennifer, great-grandchildren, sister, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law Pat and Paul, daughter-in-law Eileen, brother-in-law Jack, sister-in-law Ann, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Visitation at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Wednesday 12th November from 5pm-6pm with prayers at 5.45pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday 13th November at 10am at the North Cathedral. Michael's Mass will be live streamed on the following link: https://www.churchservices.tv/corkcathedral. Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock.
