Michael passed away after a long illness on Friday, 19th March in the care of his loving family. Predeceased by his son Brian. Sadly missed and deeply mourned by his wife Breege, sons Cormac, Ronan, Kieran and Conor, brother Brendan, sisters Maura Kavanagh and Margaret Fisher, daughters-in-law Eva, Louise, Jenny and Sharon and by his ten grandchildren.
Private Requiem Mass for Michael will be celebrated at the Augustinian Church, Middle Street at 12 noon on Monday, 22nd March. Funeral after Mass to the new cemetery, Bohermore. Livestream link for Mass: https://youtu.be/mo76kC5W_yM

Route
Michael’s final journey will include passing places on route through his beloved Galway, places very important and memorable for the family.
Respecting government guidelines on social distancing the Cortège will leave from his home and around the green in Beach Court, continue to Blackrock where he swam, returning to town via Fahy Travel on Bridge Street, Dominick Street, Merchant's Road, Lower Abbeygate Street to arrive at the Church and the parish of his youth. The family will be very appreciative of your presence anywhere along this route and they thank you for your support and sympathy at this sad time.
