The death has occurred of Michael Stewart, Rahylin Glebe, Ballybane, Galway. Formerly Oughterard, Co. Galway

Michael died peacefully in the loving care of the Galway Hospice surrounded by his family after a long illness on the 6th April, 2025. Predeceased by his parents Bridie and James, his siblings Harry, Mai and grandson Peter. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, his wife Mary, his children Damien, Michelle, Leo, Edel, daughters-in-law Vanessa, Caroline, sons-in-law Colin and William, all his adored grandchildren Aimee, Isabelle, Elise, Orla, Isla, Ryan, Tom, Jamie and Lucy. Sadly missed by his brother Paul, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at The Holy Family Funeral Home, Mervue, (H91FH52) on Tuesday, the 8th of April, from 5pm. Private removal at 6.30pm. Arriving for Requiem mass on Wednesday, the 9th of April, at 11am in The Church of the Holy Family, Mervue. Funeral afterwards to Renville Cemetery.
