Michael Tierney

Michael (Mick) Tierney of Shankill, Co. Dublin, passed away peacefully on 24th September, 2023, after a long illness, surrounded by his loving wife and children and in the wonderful care of Blackrock Hospice. Dearly loved husband of Ina, much loved Daddy of Catherine, Paul, John and Colm, adored Pappy of his 10 grandchildren and 2 great-granchildren, lovingly remembered by Nicky, Christine, Amy and Jill, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends, especially his best friend Vinny.

Reposing in Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Wednesday (27th September) from 4.00pm-6.00pm. Walking from his home on Friday (29th September) at 9.30am to St. Anne’s Church, Shankill, arriving for a Funeral Mass at 10.00am followed by committal in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Blackrock Hospice. House private.
