MICHAEL (TIGER) LYONS Knockcroghery, Co Roscommon. May 23rd, 2025; Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at University Hospital Galway, in the company of family.

 

Predeceased by his infant son Patrick, parents Pat and Margaret and brothers Jimmy and Peter.

 

Sadly missed by his loving wife Philomena, children Margie, Karen, Polly, Peter, Mike, Shamey and Tony, grandchildren Toirleach, Lorcan, David, Lucy, Tanya, Jack, Enya, Shauna, Aengus, Oisin, Aaron, Tadhg, Dylan, Bobby, Maeve and Diana, great-grandchildren Michéal Óg and Faró, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and many good friends.

 

May Tiger rest in peace.

 

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Sunday evening from 6 o’c until 8 o’c. Removal to arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Knockcroghery on Monday morning for Mass of the Resurrection at 10 o’c. Burial afterwards in Gailey Cemetery.
