Michael Ward

The death has occurred of Michael Ward (Diamond), Graveyard Road, Kilkerrin, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. Peacefully, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, following a long illness bravely borne. Predeceased by his parents Willie and Teresa Ward. Deeply mourned by his wife Mary (née Glynn), sons Michael and Liam, daughters Martina (Connor, Ballydangan, Athlone), and Sarah (Martin, Glinsk, Co. Galway), his brother Seamus (Dundalk), sister Catherine (Egan, Brideswell, Athlone), sons-in-law Anthony and Eoin, cherished grandchildren Jake, Isabelle and Lauren, sister-in-law Bernie (Ward), brothers-in-law Padraic Egan PJ, Brendan, Johnny, Danny and Martin (Glynn), nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, wonderful neighbours and loyal friends.

Michael's funeral will be held in private in line with current restrictions. Private Requiem Mass for family only will take place in St. Joseph's Church, Kilkerrin, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway on Sunday, 25th July, at 12.30 pm followed by burial in Kilkerrin Cemetery.  Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Galway Parkisons or Community Palliative Care, Renmore.
